Morgan Freeman has long been considered one of the greatest actors of our generation. He has some of the most soothing and commanding voices in all of Hollywood, which is part of the reason why he was cast to voice God in the movies Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty. Now, in a new interview, Freeman has finally confirmed what we all knew to be true all along: he is, in fact, God.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Freeman was asked about his reputation as a Hollywood icon. He responded by saying, “I don’t know where that comes from, but I guess it’s from the work I’ve done.” When Kimmel pressed him on whether or not he was actually God, Freeman paused for a moment before finally saying, "Yes, I am."
